Napante is always nice. I've been coming back to it for 50 years. When you walk up and come into the patio area the view is overwhelming. Drinks at the bar are good. And the food is fantastic. They do a good job.

Inside looked pretty cool and we could see being there at night with the fires going would’ve been neat, but I think lunch on a nice sunny day is the best way to experience Nepenthe. Request a seat on the rail overlooking the coast - well worth the wait. Ambrosia burger and veggie burger were maybe only 4 stars but I rated overall a 5 due to view, location and beer on a perfect sunny day!!! Stop in the Phoenix Shop to browse gifts for those back home or yourself!

Yes and ample unless it's a special holiday.

Highway 1 is open without restrictions both from the north and south between Carmel and Cambria. All 2017 winter related road closure areas have been repaired and highway is open.

Yes but be ready to grap a drink at the bar then kick back outside for 40 minutes.

There is parking, but you have to climb some stairs.

HI, Lezlie, in general, the lunch entrees are lower priced than the dinner entrees, though entrees, appetizers, desserts, and beverages that are served at both lunch and dinner are priced at same levels. If a weekend or holiday, as much time in advance as possible is best. In general, though we often have openings up to the day of the requested reservation, except during peak business periods.

No need to book a table unless you have a party of five or more, then we would be happy to take a reservation. For smaller parties we work with a first come first serve waiting list if seating is not immediately available. We do have a staircase from the parking area to the restaurant, so for easier stroller access, feel free to use our Handicapped Access/Delivery driveway which will bring you up to another parking area where Handicapped parking is located and an ADA ramp that will allow for easy stroller access to restaurant level. Just drop off party with stroller and then park at lower main lot and reverse procedure when you are ready to leave. Thank you.
